Hello everyone… just back from a very dry Gene17 week end, but still good fun.
What’s up at the club?!

Monthly Meeting

Yes it is he first week end of the Month so this Wednesday, its meeting at the Cherry Tree in Steventon. We will aim to start the meeting between 8 and 8.30pm. See you there.

Pool Session

The next and last pool session for 2012 will be on the 13th December at Our Lady’s Abingdon school Swimming Pool. Starting at 8pm til 9.30.

Dates for you calendar

First Aid Course

We are running a First Aid Course on the weekend of 9th and 10th Feb 2013 at the sailing club in Abingdon.

This will be a 16hr course with a focus on first aid in the outdoors and will cost of £40 to paid up KCC members who do not have a first aid qualification or who have one which will expire in the next 12 months. The cost will be £75 for others. Non-members are also welcome if there are any spare place. We need a minimum of 12 people confirmed ASAP and can have up to 20.

In order to secure you place or for further details please email Nick (kcc.treasurer@gmail.com). Please note that the full £40 will need to be paid by 31 December 2012.

This course is aimed as ALL paddlers and is highly recommended.

Hydro Scheme

Finally, the closing date for consultation is this Wednesday. The club has put an objections centred on the fact that there is no provisions for us.
If you also feel that there is no provisions for our use of the weir, then please feel free to place your objections on the Vale of the White Horse district council website.
