I hope you’ve all recovered from the Christmas meal. I really enjoyed it and I hope you did too.

A few items from the monthly meeting:

Latest Trasher
The November/December edition of the trasher is on the website if you havn’t seen it.

Committee meeting
The next meeting is on Momnday 15th Jan. If you have anything you wish to be discussed, please let a committee member know.

Pool sessions
As you may be aware, the pool has a leak. The next pool sessions havn’t been cancelled yet, but they may be at short notice. I will keep you informed. Also keep an eye on our website.

Despite this, I am still looking for lifeguards for the last two pool sessions: 1st and 15th March. Any volunteers please?

Canoe Two Star
Liz Garnett is arranging an open canoe two star training/assessment weekend. This is aimed at coaches looking to fulfil the new coaching requirements but I’m sure it is open to anyone that is interested. Contact Liz if you are interested.

Quebec Slideshow
Dave Surman has arranged the next slideshow to be held in the steventon sports and social club. It is on Wednesday 31st January at 8pm. £2 donation. Bar open. Presentation by Kevin Francis on kayaking in Quebec.

Kayakojacko Ladies freestyle day
KJO is organising a ladies freestyle training day on 13th Jan at Hurley- 10am start then back to Jacko’s in the afternoon for debrief, cake and stuff. Contact kayakojacko directly if you are interested. Claire CL is going and is keen to see more ladies from KCC down there.

PYCC Dart Loop trip
Dave Surman is arranging a pathfinders trip to the dart on the 20/21 Jan. Contact Dave if you are interested in going along.

Lakes Trip
Dave Surman is planning a trip to the Lakes before the end of march. Contact Dave if you are interested in going along.
